Pastor Jim Polanzke
Pastor Jim is originally form the midwest, having grown up in Iowa and Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) with a B.A. in Communication and Theater Arts in 1985.
After a number of years working behind the camera in affiliate television stations and various cruise ships he attended Seminary at Wartburg Theological Seminary. There he met and married his wife, Liz, and graduated in 1997 with a Master of Divinity degree.
His first call was with a parish in Michigan followed by a call as Director of Lutherock, an outdoor ministry site of the ELCA. He and his wife adopted a beautiful daughter in 2000 and began serving Christ Lutheran Church of Spry in 2002.
