Small Group Ministry
Joining a Small Group Ministry
We all are created with a need for relationships, not only with God, but also with other people. So how do you go about building relationships with other Christians? One way is to get involved with a small group at Christ Spry. Over the years, a large majority of the members and regular attendees at Christ Spry have participated in the mutual encouragement, fellowship and discipleship offered by one of our many small groups. Our small groups reform every spring and fall, so this is a good time to become a member of a small group or to visit several before joining one.
Starting a Small Group Ministry
Our concept of small groups is that they are formed from the needs of the individuals within the church congregation. They exist as long as the individuals in the group are benefiting from the relationships. New groups form as the excitement of new ideas and topics spring forth from the congregation. If you have an idea for a new group and wish to pursue the idea contact the church office and share the idea with us. We may be able to help you get that new group started. Possible types of groups that help us serve the lord include Focus Groups, Support/Recovery Groups, Discipleship Groups, and Ministry Groups.
